The restaurant is very cozy and when it's warm, you can sit outside! Friendly staff, you feel very welcome. The vegetarian dishes are delicious and fresh!

I can only agree with the many positive reviews. I've been a guest at Lindengarten very often and always enjoy coming back. The staff is very friendly, you always feel welcome and the food is first class.

Very unfriendly service. I cannot recommend the vegetarian dishes, they didn't taste good and the portions were very small for the price. (Potato bags, for example) We had a very bad experience, dealing with us was disastrous. Look for something else.

We have visited the Lindengarten several times and the service was always very nice and friendly. The kitchen with home-style cooking and individual dishes are also the highlight. The linden garden is on the hiking trail and can even be reached by car. Family celebrations can also be used. Keep it up until next time. Lg

Has brought more drinks than ordered and still fully cashed. The service was noticed by their unfriendly manner when ordering. If you don't enjoy your work you shouldn't do it, it would be better than scaring off your guests.

!!! NEVER AGAIN !!! We just wanted to drink two mulled wines. Even the reception was not particularly friendly. The mulled wine came relatively quickly, but was only lukewarm. Then we wanted to pay appropriately with coins and would be reprimanded in a very unfriendly manner. Really absurd! Not recommendable!! And besides, the place smells like a takeaway - greasy and smoky.

Delicious coffee & cake, but unfortunately only very poor soup of the day or pumpkin soup - a shame. Rustic atmosphere and acceptable prices.

Very hospitable, rustic, clean and most importantly: delicious. There is home-style cooking here, warmly served in a stylish dining room. Our stay was attentively accompanied by the friendly service - also with other well-occupied tables. Since I worked temporarily in the catering industry myself, I know the demanding work, peppered with hectic rush hours. Here we have found a great starting point for beautiful hikes, for example to the Bastei. We would love to come back and thank you for the friendly welcome.

We lived in Rathewalde for 10 days. On 4 evenings we went to eat in the linden garden. That's explaining everything. Whether roast wild boar or field stone pan - it was just tasty and delicious. We found the atmosphere to be friendly and attentive.

Worst service I've ever had. Rolling eyes, sighing and, as the crowning glory, not returning the remaining money and sneaking the tip: "Unfortunately, I have no change". The food was frozen for a bold price! Better to eat elsewhere !!!

1 star because 0 is not possible. Had ordered the potato pockets with cream cheese. A cheek, 3 potato pockets from the freezer for the price. Save the money and buy it at the Aldi. The service was very unfriendly. The drinks were simply put down with the statement "you can distribute them yourself". Service is not a term here. No please and thank you. Better go to the next town to Dönermann. You have more of the money.

On the way back from our hike, we stopped in the linden garden. We were served very friendly and quickly. The food was really tasty and plentiful. Our four-legged friend also felt at home in the cozy beer garden. We'd love to come back again.

The parking ticket machine didn't work, wanted to ask the garden if they might know something. Before I could ask my question, a worker there allowed herself to yell at me that the entrance was different. Very nice PR and good dealing with people.

Wonderfully located! A beer garden to relax and feel good! Very friendly service! Excellent food! In short, everything went well, a successful evening. We are already planning the next visit! 5 stars, more than deserved!

Super nice place with a friendly and friendly team. We were even able to place our order shortly before the kitchen closes. The food was good home-style cooking ... in terms of taste, as well as the size of the portion, it was simply good. The fries were super crispy, just how I like them. In the end there was delicious homemade ginger shot. Highly recommended, would stay there again at any time.
